Manage your team's information
A coach's
responsibilities usually include
off-field administrative and information management duties.
Depending on your team's level, this role varies. College coaches
may only need to review/analyze team and player information provided by
other departments. High school, AAU and youth coaches, on the other
hand, often need to both
create and manage all of their team's information, including statistics.
The Sports Information
Desk can help Athletic Directors and their coaches at all levels better manage their team, player and
game information. Here are some benefits of the Sports Information Desk
that apply to athletic directors and coaches:
-
SID gives you immediate access to all of your
player, team, or game information from a single software
application. Simply open a Season to access all of your team's
data.

In addition to storing a Season on your personal computer, Season
data can also be stored on your local area network server's "common
drive" and accessed from PCs that have SID installed.
-
At the High School level, a single installation of SID can support
all of your school's sports, generating player profiles, statistic
reports, etc. for every athlete and team in your organization.
Using our Season technology, you simply specify a statistical sport
package when you create a new Season.
-
For college level organizations, you can easily reuse
Season information created by your Media Relations department.
This can eliminate any potential duplication of data entry while
also providing a common environment for the entire organization to manage,
view and communicate a team's information.
-
You can provide season data, including statistics, to
your players in the form of reports or a GameDiary CD.
Also, you can email most internal reports directly to players and
other interested parties. High school athletes seeking
scholarship opportunities will appreciate the College Prospect
profiles that you create within the Sports Information Desk.

Analyze performance
Statistics and game notes help a coach analyze
and improve a team's performance, identifying trends and other
tendencies that impact results.
The Sports Information Desk has features to help
a coach track and analyze game information.
-
An integrated statistics system is available
to track both player and team game statistics. Suitable for
both high school and youth sport teams, this feature displays
player and special team statistics, calculating average and
cumulative totals on the fly. A variety of statistic reports
are included along with a a chart that dynamically displays
statistics to better visualize performance trends. A standard
library of sport packages is included and you can create/modify
a sport package to meet your own needs.

For college level teams that already use an NCAA approved
statistics package, this feature can easily be disabled.
-
A game notebook is provided in which you can
enter game notes in up to six categories. Review your prior
game notes to help prepare for playing an opponent again.
