Each SID and GameDiary Season is comprised of games or other events that you add to the schedule.  You can view your Season schedule in either a list view (default) or a monthly calendar view.  The monthly calendar view shows all Season events including both games and any other events (e.g., practices) that you add.  

The software's underlying database stores and organizes your pictures, video, game notes, and statistics by game.  When you select a game, the software's user interface displays only the information for that game.

You add games and events via the New Game dialog box that appears to the lower left.  You may also put the schedule into its edit mode and directly modify the game schedule.

In GameDiary, games are classified as:

• Exhibition

• Regular season

• Post season

• Misc. (Non-Game)

SID further breaks down "Regular season" games into Conference and Non-Conference games.

SID and GameDiary use these Game Types to filter your season statistics.

In some sports, such as Volleyball or Tennis, a "Game" may actually be a match that is comprised of multiple games.  GameDiary keeps track of individual game scores within a Game/Match using the Match Game Score dialog box.
