SID displays both the profiled
player's team roster and the current game's opponent roster.
You can choose to display either
the player's pictures (with their name and uniform number) or a
roster table that includes detailed information about each player.
These different views are selected using the buttons located at the
bottom left of the roster display.
To the right is a roster
displayed in the player picture view.
Direct below is a roster displayed
in the detail table view. |

The dialog box to manage your
teams and personnel |
|
|
The Sports Information Desk enables you to manage game and
personal information for each player on a team, all within a single Season.
The software includes visual controls to display a team's
players and a dialog box from which you can add, delete and modify teams and
their players.
If you are using the SID Team Edition, you can quickly display any
player's information by one of 3 methods:
-
Use your mouse and double-click a player within the
roster area.
-
Right click the player and choose "Profile Player" from
the popup menu.
-
From within the Manage Personnel Dialog box, select a
player on the Players tab and then click the Profile Player button.
When a player is "profiled", SID updates its main screen to
show the player's statistics and personal profile forms, while also filtering
the game notebook to display the player's personal pictures, video and game
notes (when the player mode is selected vs. the team mode).
Our Team Edition of the Sports Information
desk enables you to manage and profile any player on a single team. The
SID Personal Edition; however, can only profile a single player that is
designated when a Season is first created.
Although rosters can be created for your opponents in both
the Team and Personal Editions, you cannot profile these
opponent players (i.e. collect statistics, game notes, personal information,
etc.).
